And...They're Off!

This is just a quick note to let everyone know that I've just sent off my paper doll to the OPDAG magazine Paper Doll Studio today and they should have them by Friday, hopefully in time for their deadline! Fingers crossed!

I will be posting the doll, here, this week, for you all to see. I hope you like it!

In the meantime, I want to talk to you about a lovely set I came across. It's such an unusual set, and so lovely, I simply had to share it with you! It's by artist Brenda Sneathen Mattox, and the subject? Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest!

I can certainly say, these are some of the most delightful dolls I have ever seen, not only for the beauty of design, but for the sheer whimsy! It even has Algernon's plate of cucumber sandwiches! Yes, this book is an absolute must-have. You can find it on Amazon, but I believe it is still available from the artist, herself, on her web page www.fancyephemera.com

Have fun looking at some of her lovely creations!
