I have contacted the publisher of Paper Doll Studio magazine, so they know my work is soon on its way, but does anyone have any thoughts on my little printing problem, so as to avoid it in the future?
What seemed to be the problem, was the acrylic paint I used to color my doll and outfits was somehow reflective, and therefor, the printer rejected these particular colors. It was the light, light blues and the pale skin tone. Although I am not new to drawing, I am rather new to the coloring to print process.
I would love any suggestions from any other artist out there. You would be my hero!
In the meantime, what's new with the outside paper doll world? Well, I would like to direct your attention to the works of artist Norma Lu Meehan. I had seen her delightful paper doll books on Paper Studio Press, but have been made official aware thanks to the Paper Doll Review and its new series on paper doll artists! Please click here to read their fun interview with this remarkable lady!
Available at a very low price (for those of you who may just be starting their paper doll collection, I would really look into this), for a very limited time you can purchase her delightful Greta Garbo set, pictured below. I have just sent for two of these! I am excited to post about them when they arrive in the mail!

Aren't these lovely? Being a classic film buff, naturally, this set is of interest to me, but I am liking the look of this set, very much. More details to come! (You can buy your set at Paper Studio Press)
Until next time! :)
